I know, this topic is something that can/should still be discussed later but I still wanted to bring it up since i haven`t seen it here.
Where will we get all the music and soundeffects for the game from? Obviously we could use much from the original homestuck music and from some fan-made remixes (for example "shurban jungle" or "Homestuck Anthem" for login screen, character creation screen, etc.? "Land of Salamanders" or "Frost" for fitting overworlds?).
But wich soundeffects should we use? just steal some from other games? find someone who can make some good ones?

There are plenty of free sound effects online, those would be the best/easiest.

Thought about Land themes:

What if the notes are determined by one half of the the land's title, and the instruments are determined by the other half?

I wouldn't know how to do it - probably use an on-the-fly generated .midi file somehow, but it sounds like it would be awesome.
